Our team works alongside Founder and Chief Investment Officer, Kamal Marchoudi.

Prior to founding Atlas Square in 2016, Kamal was the CEO and portfolio manager of Scoggin Capital UK where he set up the London office and ran a discretionary long/short portfolio since 2011. Prior to Scoggin, Kamal worked at Goldman Sachs from 2000–2011, most recently as an Executive Director in the London based Fundamental Strategies Group (within FICC 2006-2011) and prior to that, a Vice President within the Equity Investments group (2005-2006).​ Kamal began his career as an analyst in the Global Investment Research Division. Kamal holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He also earned a Masters in International Strategy & Diplomacy from the London School of Economics & Political Science in the year prior to founding the firm.
